What it’s about

In a near future, time travel exists but only a chosen few can use it. Lavrik, a smooth-talking con man and gigolo, has been found out and lost his income. His only hope is a job from billionaire Boltzmann: go back to 1913 Moscow and bring back the Hymen Cup. The artifact sits in the Bridal Cashier's Office, a bank where dowries are stored. Lavrik arrives in the past and starts hunting for the cup, but Varya, a principled employee of the Cashier's Office with an uncanny ability to spot liars, is determined to wreck his scheme. Lavrik must come up with a way to outsmart Varya and even use her to make the con work.
