What it’s about

Oleg Tyapin is a shy, law-abiding engineer at the Zakat Research Institute in the provincial city of Glebov. He never planned to enter politics, but fate lands him a seat in the new convocation of the State Duma. Once in office, he must navigate a world that seems completely unsuited to his modest nature. As he tackles his new duties, he makes mistakes, tries to correct them, and repeatedly finds himself in comical situations. Along the way, he discovers new sides of himself and struggles to sort out his personal life.
