Trivia
All facts 10
- The name of the character Wilhelm Vicki, played by Gideon Burkhard, is a tribute to directors Georg Wilhelm Pabst and Bernhard Vicki.
- At the premiere of "Pride of the Nation," a "Golden Knight's Cross with Swords of the War Merit Cross" can be seen on Hans Landa's neck. This award was established to recognize non-combat merits to the Third Reich during wartime. According to some sources, nine people received this award before the end of the war; according to others, about twenty. The award was established in October 1944, so Landa could not possibly have received it.
- Quentin Tarantino began writing the script even before "Kill Bill" (2003), but he could not come up with a worthy ending, so he decided to postpone the project and work on "Bill."
- Tarantino worked on the script for about 10 years.
- David Krumholtz dropped out of the project due to contractual obligations on other films.
- Originally, Simon Pegg was supposed to play Archie Hicox.
