His father worked as a manager at a trucking company, and his mother was a school psychologist. He studied at the University of Missouri. He works as an actor and producer. Married twice: to actress Jennifer Aniston and to actress Angelina Jolie, the couple has 6 children: 3 biological (son Knox, daughters Shiloh and Vivienne) and 3 adopted (sons Maddox and Pax, daughter Zahara). Since 2022, he has been in a relationship with designer Ines de Ramon, the couple has no children
