Biography
American actor, best known for the role of DEA agent Hank Schrader in the AMC series "Breaking Bad," and for the role of Jim Rennie in the television series "Under the Dome."
Norris was born in South Bend, Indiana, to Jack Norris, the owner of a furniture store, and Rosie Norris. He has 4 sisters. Norris graduated from Clay High School in Indiana, and then in 1985 from Harvard College, where he majored in social studies. He also attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Norris's limp is the result of an accident in his early childhood, when he was seriously injured while playing football with his sisters. When the ball rolled out into the street, Dean's leg went under an oncoming police car; the drivers were unable to see little Norris running across the road. This limp is depicted in his role in the film "The Firm," as well as in the series "Breaking Bad."
As of May 2010, Norris and his wife Bridget live near Los Angeles and have 5 children, ranging in age from 1 to 18
