Tatyana Dogileva was born in the village of Novo-Mikhailovskoye, Ruzsky District, Moscow Oblast, RSFSR, USSR. Tatyana Dogileva's parents, Anatoly Mikhailovich and Anna Afanasyevna, were workers at a flour mill; her older brother Vladimir (5 years older, died in the mid-1990s) was disabled from childhood. She studied at a school affiliated with the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, at the age of fourteen she was accepted into the Young Actor Studio at Central Television, and in 1974 she entered GITIS, graduating in 1978 (V.P. Ostalsky's course). She studied in the same course as Viktor Sukhorukov and Yuri Stoyanov, with whom she had an affair for some time. In 1978-1985 she was an actress at the Moscow Leninsky Komsomol Theatre. Since 1985 she has been an actress at the Moscow Yermolova Drama Theatre. In August 2012 she left the Yermolova Theatre of her own accord, as she had not appeared on stage for about 20 years.

In 1998 she made her directorial debut with the play "Moonlight, Honeymoon". From September 2006 to June 2007 she worked as a TV host of the daytime psychological talk show "Two Truths" on NTV. She lives in Tryokhprudny Lane in the Patriarch's Ponds area. Her first husband (1978, for three months) Alexander - they married while studying at the institute, they met on the set of the film "The Stowaway Passenger", where he worked as a lighting technician. Her second husband Mikhail Mishin is a satirist; the marriage lasted from 1990 to 2008. Her daughter is Ekaterina Mikhailovna Dogileva (born December 30, 1994) - an actress. She lives and works in the USA. She graduated from acting courses in Cambridge and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
