Born on February 7, 1972 in Uruguay into the family of an opera singer. He spent his childhood in Australia, and when Angel was 11 years old, the Bonanni family moved to Israel.

Angel played football professionally and also worked as a model in Israel. In addition to his career in film and television, Bonanni is involved in music: the actor sings beautifully and writes song lyrics himself. In 2012, his pop group Project Passport released the album "State of Grace," consisting of six songs.

The actor loves to travel, speaks several languages, and is passionate about visual arts.

On June 19, 2014, Bonanni married Andrea Leitersdorf. In June 2018, the couple had a son.
