Biography

Dmitry Vlaskin was born into a family of doctors. His mother was a pediatrician, and his father worked for the ambulance service. When the boy began playing tennis, his father became a tennis coach. And when Dmitry entered a theater university, his mother also enrolled in a theater university and became a director. Vlaskin was preparing for a career as an athlete. One of the American universities in South Carolina invited him to play for its team. At the age of 16, Dmitry went to the USA: to study psychology and compete for the honor of the university. However, after his fourth year, he dropped out of university and entered the Moscow Art Theatre School, in Igor Zolotovitsky's workshop. He came to St. Petersburg to visit his cousin, who was studying acting, and found himself at a rehearsal of the play "Don't Part with Your Loved Ones" based on the play of the same name by Alexander Volodin. While in the hall, he witnessed a miracle: the director showed the actress how best to play one moment, and the actress changed. After the School-Studio, Dmitry was accepted into the intern troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre. Two years later he moved to the Pushkin Theatre. Dmitry began acting in TV series while still studying. In 2013 he appeared in "Studio 17". The following year, the film "Jolly Fellows" was released. In 2014, Dmitry Vlaskin worked on the mini-series "In the Constellation of Sagittarius", dedicated to the "Russian Pele", footballer Eduard Streltsov. In 2016, films featuring Dmitry were released: "Red" and "Elastico". Then he starred in the comedy series "The Ghost of the Operative". Dmitry continued to act in "Fizruk". He also became a national team footballer in the series "The Big Game" on STS. And he got another football role in the series "I Am a Coach!". In 2021, the series "The Mistress of the Mountain" premiered on the Russia TV channel, where Vlaskin played one of the brothers. Dmitry found his wife at the Moscow Art Theatre School: Alexandra Kuzenkina studied at the same time, in Konstantin Raikin's course. The actors married in 2014 and separated in 2017, but Dmitry did not publicize this.

In October 2018, it became known that Dmitry Vlaskin and Anna Begunova, star of the series "Kitchen", whose divorce from actor Sergei Lavygin was also not publicized, were getting married. In the autumn of 2019, the couple had a daughter, Lukerya. The celebrity parents hid the happy event from the media for some time, but later Vlaskin shared the joyful news in one of his interviews.
