When the girl entered the audition, the admissions committee (which included Oleg Tabakov) was already quite tired. Olga was asked what she had prepared. "Chekhov, Tsvetaeva, Garcia Lorca, Dostoevsky," she answered. "Well, read us some Chekhov," they said and leaned back casually. And then the girl, deciding to be mischievous, began reading a Tsvetaeva text. Her move was not appreciated and they parted ways. But at the Shchukin Institute the applicant was appreciated and accepted.
